Preschool Practice Classes have begun! Call the center for assessment and to sign up for these sessions designed to increase behavior skills needed for typical preschools. We are practicing skills such as looking at the speaker and listening during circle time, transitioning from one activity to another, participating in music and following the teacher’s instructions. We also work on play skills such as asking a peer to play, taking turns, sharing and asking for a toy from a friend. Imaginative play skills and compliance skill development may also be targeted. Each child has his own goals developed in conjunction with parents. Most of all, these classes are fun!!!
