Here we grow again! We have leased additional space to expand our popular groups.  Watch for flyers for upcoming groups which will begin in February 2009. Individual goals and objectives are developed for each child and ABA technology is used throughout all sessions.

Preschool practice groups will meet 1 or 2 days a week for children age 3-5. Activities include arts and crafts, pretend play, music, circle time, listening from a distance, and improving attention.

New groups for ages 5 through 14 will begin soon also.  They will meet after school from 4 until 5:30 one day a week. Groups will be formed for kids with similar skill levels. Registration and assessment will begin in late January.

Rules of Conversation - Topics include looking at the speaker, listening skills, greetings, making introductions, personal space, body language and staying on topic. These skills are taught in conjunction with play skills through a variety of techniques.

It’s Raining Cats and Dogs - This fun group will focus on literal language and euphemism in a playful way.

Understanding Others - Topics include body language, comprehending non-verbal communication, identifying what others like and dislike, pretend play and other activities geared toward developing this important skill.
