Our History
ABA Academy was started in the fall of 2006 by Nancy Wagner, a Behavior Analyst with 3 decades in the field of developmental disabilities, ABA and autism. As a parent of children on the autism spectrum, and as a seasoned consultant, Nancy knows the vital importance of early intervention and training for children with autism and other developmental challenges.
In 2009, ABA Academy was incorporated as the non-profit, Mustard Seed Autism Project, Inc. in the state of Texas and continues to do business as ABA Academy. A major goal of the Project is to partner with parents to teach them the techniques to help them reach their child in the most effective way. Through observing therapy sessions, consulting with the BCBAs, and through video learning, these parents strengthen their expertise and knowledge of their child in an immersion format. These interactions become a way of life for these families.
The mission of Mustard Seed Autism Project, Inc. is to provide quality applied behavior analysis services in a fun, caring environment to families and caretakers of children with autism and other developmental challenges.
